Life often presents us with many choices, and sometimes those choices are simply made for us. Three years ago, my home burned down in the Tea House Fire, and thankfully I escaped the inferno with the clothes on my back and my dogs! Needless to say, I am very grateful to be alive. This amazing community in Santa Barbara fed, clothed, sheltered, and supported me in ways I never could have imagined. I have always preferred to give, and this experience was the ultimate surrender into receiving. I took a year off to heal and to travel, and this journey has been one of the most beautiful lessons of my life. I am now back home aspiring to be of best service to our community. This site describes some of the ways in which I feel I can live that life, a path of heart.
